On 20-22 September 2016, at The Courtyard by Marriott in Warsaw the 5th edition of Forum Adaptive Manufacturing in the FMCG sector was held. The meeting brought together practitioners of productions of the largest companies in the FMCG sector. Among the speakers were representatives of companies such as Nutricia, Beiersdorf, Nestle. Lotte Wedel, Carlsberg Supply Company, Mondelez Polska Production. The discussion focused on finding ways to quickly and flexibly adapt production processes to the changing requirements of retailers and consumers , while maintaining high quality and low cost.
The Gold partner of the event was DSR, who addressed the question “How to successfully increase the efficiency of production process?”. During the first day of the Forum ( 20 September, 14:10-17:00) DSR tutored the Interactive Working Group “Integrated planning- the potential and challenges for FMCG manufacturing companies”. The idea of the workshop was not only the transfer of technical knowledge from the speaker , but also interaction with the participants of the group. Managers were able to discus, demonstration and comment, and create new ideas for their company. On the second day of the Forum (21 Spetember , 10:50), Piotr Rojek ( CEO of DSR) lead the presentation “IT support for FMCG :trends, challenges, solutions”.
